On 23 September 2026, the IPU will convene an event for all parliamentarians travelling to New York as part of their national (governmental) delegation attending the opening High-Level Week of the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations.
The parliamentary event will be held from 10:00 to 12:30 at the Church Center for the United Nations, and focus on the main theme of the General Assembly session, namely, "Restoring Trust, Managing Transformation: A United Nations That Delivers for All."
The languages of the event are English and French.
